DUPLEX
Duplex steels are biphasic austenitic-ferritic stainless steels with a mixed crystalline grain structure of austenite and ferrite (approximately 50% austenite and 50% ferrite), while Super Duplex are high-performance duplex steels with a high content of chromium nickel and molybdenum.
These steels are characterized by good mechanical strength both at break and yield, excellent resistance to corrosion, excellent ductility and weldability. They are used in the petrochemical industry, where acids and chlorides are involved, in the Oil & Gas industry and in very corrosive marine environments, where materials with a great resistance to different types of stress and forces are required.

The production of elbows strictly follows the international specifications according to EN and ASTM-ASME.
Era Fittings, for each elbow produced, issues certificates that meet the qualifications required by the client. All welding operations are performed by qualified personnel in full compliance with the norms. The elbows will also be tested with X-rays, UT, and Penetrants Liquids according to the norm and customer requests.
